YAYYAYAYYA.
I'm typing this entry all over again. I'm very sad and angry. Stupid entry suddenly disappeared. Must be cos of my stupid comp. Hmmph. But nvm, for the sake of this blog, I shall RETYPE the entry..
I am here to blog about the Shine Touch Comp which was held on the 15th of July 2006 at Turf City. This entry is photo heavy (with all da hot pictures of NZ playas & some not so hot RJ touch players). Yeah so allow some time for the pix to load ok. So anywayyy...
We're CHAMPS! Woohoo. Well done Touch Ruggers! Continue to work hard and play hard! But don't get too complacent, cos we only won the B Div. There's still A Div to work for alright? We must keep working on our strengths and find our weaknesses and work on them too. Anyway, a million gazillion bazookazillion thanks to Mich and Dawn for being with us throughout the whole competition. For all the support, for cheering us on, for being so kind to buy us lunch and for taking lovely photos for us. (: And of course, thanks to Khai - for being a wonderful coach. And I must thank Derelyn too, cos she even though she couldn't be at the tournament with us, she sent me msgs of encouragement. And touch ruggies, she's really happy for us too! :D Yep yep. Well, I had a wonderful time on Saturday - the weather was fine, the field was perfect, the mud was smooth and the company was awesome. :D But the portable toilets weren't very desirable. (x
Ok ok, anyway..
Guess whooo? Guess who?Hmmm, I can't really remember the scores for each match... vs Ngee Ann 0-0, vs RP Phoenix 2-0?, vs SRJC 6-0. We topped our group and went to the semis. We played against SRJC (again) but this time we got 5-0. The SRJC people are really nice, especially their captain, the tall and lanky one. (: For the finals, it was against Bukit Batok Sec. We won 1-0. (: Like Yanyi said: We sort of overestimated them - hence, we didn't really break for gaps or burn the wings. Well I guess, we learn from our mistakes.

Sarah, Clara & Val - the kind hearted people from Touch who volunteered to fill the coolers and bottles of their fellow teammates (who were more keen looking at da hot NZ guys playing on the field.) Thanks you three! HOWEVER, if you look closely at the picture - you'd notice that Sarah's carrying ONLY ONE cooler while Val's carrying 3 coolers and Clara, 2 coolers and 3 bottles. TSK SARAH, letting others carry the heavy load. Well, I wanted to help them, but I was abit concussed after the stupid stumble during the SRJC game. (rightttt.)

During our last outing to the coast of Kallang, we discovered Michkoolia Coconuttus. This time the RJ touch girls uncovered another new species in the dense forest of Turf City off Bukit Timah. This species only appear when there are hot NZ guys.
They are called Towelheadia Awesomus. A colourful bunch that likes to eat blackcurrent glucose.So after the finals and a brief debriefing from Khai, we went off. The Touch Singapore guy informed Yanyi and I that he'll be coming to present the medals to our principal. That's good (: Cos then, Touch can get recognised. And with that, hopefully, we'll get to use the main field.. Yippies. So, some people left earlier cos of tuition and stuff. Only Cara, Shiwei, Kiat, Sarah, Clara, Val, Yanyi & I were left. We walked to the carpark and guess who we saw there?!?!?!?!??! THE NZ TOUCH TEAM! You know, the one with da hot guys! Yah! Yep, so we took photos with them, using MY camera. They were really nice and friendly and all. :D WAHAHHAHA. So cool. Thanks to the two bus uncles for being there at the right moment to snap the photos for us (: BUS UNCLES ROCK!
